CAROL HABIG
Botanical Illustrator

Carol, a resident of Chester County PA, has been specializing in botanical art since moving to Pennsylvania fourteen years ago from the Washington, D.C. area. A graduate of Cornell University, she has studied botanical illustration under Joan Frain at Longwood Gardens, Louisa Rawle Tine at The Chanticleer Gardens, and Anne-Marie Evans in England.

Carol's work has been exhibited in many area juried shows including Longwood Gardens, Philadelphia Flower Shows, Chester County Art Association, Immaculata Art Shows, the Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia and the 2007 Philadelphia Sketch Club Art Show. She has also exhibited nationally at the 21st Greater New York Orchid Show, the Northeast Exhibition of Botanical Art in Portland, Oregon, and the National Capital Orchid Society in Washington, DC.

She continues to study botanical illustration at the N.Y. Botanical Garden and is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists and the Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators.
